Happy Tuesday!
Here's what we did today:
Reading: We read 'The Sun and the Earth' and learned about reading a graph/chart. We know that when we look at a graph/chart we have to look at all of the outside information before we can ever begin to make sense of the information that appears in the actual graph/chart area. We also reviewed our vocabulary words today, be sure to be ready for your vocab quiz tomorrow...remember, it's a crossword puzzle, so you are going to need to know how to spell the word correctly!
Language: We continued learning about commas in a series. I am super proud of how quickly you guys are picking up on this concept! Just always remember, if you have three or more things, people, animals, etc., in a series, you MUST use a comma to seperate the items!
Don't forget to study for your spelling test! The team that gets the highest average on this Spelling Test wins a "Classwork Pass"!
Social Studies: We played Jeapordy! today! I hope you are ready for your Social Studies test tomorrow! :o)
Whew! We have a lot going on in our classroom tomorrow! Lots of tests! I'm not worried though because I KNOW you guys are awesome, so you'll do wonderfully!
